The past seven years have done a number on President Barack Obama. A simple side-by-side comparison of his 2009 joint session of Congress with his final State of the Union address, this month, shows just how much eight years in the White House can age a person.

Obama, of course, isn’t the only president to look like he’s aged three times the number of years that actually elapsed during his presidency. His aging, however, is certainly one of U.S. history’s most dramatic examples.
