Rainy days often leave us feeling bleak and gloomy, but these streets in Seoul, South Korea aim to change all that. A creative collaboration between a group of local designers, entitled “Project Monsoon,” has transformed Seoul’s roads into remarkable colorful murals that only appear when it rains. The artists, who were inspired to “fill the streets with color and life,” used special hydrochromatic paint, which remains invisible until it becomes wet. See more at Bored Panda.

Mexico’s biggest–and most dangerous–drug cartels rake in billions of dollars each year. And they know how to flaunt it. Be it gold machine guns, random cash piles that dwarf your life savings, or exotic big cats kept as pets, these cartel members are happy to show off the spoils of their extraordinary wealth. Of course, sometimes, this gets them into trouble. After all, it was an Instagram photo that inadvertently revealed the hiding place of notorious kingpin El Chapo.
