Police have charged Terryon Thomas, a 20-year-old influencer with eight million followers on TikTok, with the murder of Baton Rouge therapist Dr. Nick Abraham.
Popular TikTok content creator Terryon Thomas, who goes by the name “Mr. Prada” on the app, has been charged with first-degree murder after he was arrested in connection with the death of Baton Rouge therapist Dr. William Nicholas Abraham.
Abraham, 69, was found dead on the side of a highway between Fluker and Tangipahoa, Louisiana, on Sept. 29. Law enforcement officials confirmed that he died as a result of blunt-force trauma. So far, it is not clear if Thomas was Abraham’s patient, and police are still working to identify a motive.
This is not the first time Thomas has garnered controversy — and a look back at his post history on TikTok even shows that he had been “practicing [his] mugshot.”
Who Is Terryon Thomas, A.K.A. Mr. Prada?
Terryon Thomas, a 20-year-old TikTok content creator, first started to gain traction online in late 2022, and now he has eight million followers across two accounts.
According to Know Your Meme, a site that catalogs internet memes and explains their background, Thomas became notorious on TikTok for fully copying other creators’ videos, shot for shot. Many of these creators called Thomas out, but his “unbothered” attitude about this content theft spawned a meme in which TikTok users would refer to themselves as “Mr. Prada victims.”
However, not all of Thomas’ content was stolen from others, and some of his more recent posts garnered concern from his fans.

Thomas’ posts hinted at feelings of loneliness, and in one, he even declared that his name “is not Prada anymore.” While police have not established the connection between Abraham and Thomas, they have said that Abraham visited Thomas’ apartment the night he was murdered.
It’s not clear at the time of writing why Nick Abraham went to Terryon Thomas’ apartment, and authorities have said they do not know if Thomas was one of Abraham’s clients.
The First-Degree Murder Charge Against The TikTok Star
According to a report from local Baton Rouge station WAFB, Abraham was last seen alive around 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, when he was captured on surveillance video entering Thomas’ apartment.
Deputy Casey R. Hicks of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department said, “We have witnesses at the apartment complex that saw the suspect dragging what we now believe is the victim’s body.”
Abraham’s body was found the following morning wrapped in a tarp and left along the edge of the highway. Initially, his car was marked as missing, but it was later found parked at a shopping center where Thomas was allegedly seen entering a business. Police tried to stop Terryon Thomas in a parking lot on Monday when he was reportedly seen once again driving the car, but he drove off and later fled from the vehicle after a wheel fell off.
From there, investigators say, Thomas somehow secured a ride back to his apartment and then made it to a bus station, where he boarded a bus to Dallas. There, he was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 1 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting an officer, and aggravated criminal damage to property after allegedly backing into a police car while fleeing.
Meanwhile, when police searched Thomas’ apartment, they reportedly found several sharp objects, weapons — and Abraham’s blood.
“We have a DNA match at the suspect’s apartment for the victim, we do believe that that’s possibly where the crime occurred,” Hicks said.
Terryon Thomas has now been charged with first-degree murder. He was extradited from Dallas and arrived at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Oct. 7. No date has been set for his trial, and police say they are still working to gather evidence.
