La Piscine Josephine Baker, Paris

Floating on the Seine River is the beautiful glass-walled pool, La Piscine Josephine Baker. Built on a modular barge and a permanent fixture on the riverbank, the pool features a retractable roof that opens to the summer sky and was named for French dancer, singer and actress Josephine Baker, the first African-American female to star in a major motion picture.
