Following the tragic Rana Building collapse in Bangladesh, Spanish artist Yolanda Dominguez took the horror to the streets of fashionable Milan with an artistic protest. Her display brings to focus the real victims of unethical clothing production.

Bangladesh is the world’s second largest supplier of clothes, yet three-fifths of its factories are at risk of collapse. Unlike this artist, though, the workers can’t get up and walk away.
Inspections in Bangladeshi factories show not only structural concerns, but also a lack of fire suppression systems, locked fire exits and faulty electrical wiring.
