With political and economic tensions in Greece still high, supporters of the extreme-right wing Golden Dawn Party rallied outside Parliament in February to mark the death of three Greek military officers in a crisis between Greece and Turkey. After a 2011 tsunami and nuclear meltdown wrecked the Fukushima prefecture in Japan , more than 160,000 citizens were evacuated. Now deserted, the fields of Fukushima became host to an unlikely addition, a vending machine. Washed in by the tsunami two years later, the apparatus was seemingly untouched by the disaster.
