A Colorado woman is accused of repeatedly pooping on the lawns of homes and parks she jogs past.
KKTV reports that police are on the trail of a jogger in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that has allegedly been defecating on the lawns of people in the neighborhood she jogs past, in plain view of residents and their children.
One family that has been affected by the defecating jogger has dubbed the woman “The Mad Pooper.”
Cathy Budde, a woman whose house “The Mad Pooper” has defecated in front of, said that her children alerted her when they saw a grown woman with her pants down, squatting on the sidewalk in front of their lawn.
“I was like ‘are you serious? Are you really taking a poop right here in front of my kids?’ And she was like ‘Yeah…sorry,'” Budde recalled.

Since that incident, the woman has continued to poop in front of Budde’s home, and around the neighborhood, about once every week.
“I put a sign on the wall that’s like ‘please, I’m begging you, please stop.’ …She ran by it like 15 times yesterday, and she still pooped,” Budde admits, defeated.

The Budde family notes that this woman’s continued defecations are not out of necessity.

Now, police have become involved, and are asking area residents to come forward with more information about the suspect known as the Mad Pooper.
“It’s abnormal, it’s not something I’ve seen in my career,” says Colorado Springs Police Sgt. Johnathan Sharketti. “For someone to repeatedly do such a thing…it’s uncharted territory for me.”
Despite this unknown motive, with photos of her already in police hands, and her modus operandi well known, the police should be able to bring “The Mad Pooper” to justice before she strikes again.
