Zephyr

Zephyr, a.k.a Andrew Witten, is largely considered one of the earliest trailblazers in the graffiti movement and is said to have pioneered one of the styles still used today by graffiti artists. Starting in the late 1970s, Zephyr primarily tagged MTA trains in the New York City area before moving into galleries in the 1980s. Because he chose to use freight cars early on in his career, much of his earliest work is now lost.
