In a truly strange turn of events, a group of drug dealers had their business upended in November when a group of feral hogs ransacked their cocaine stash and scattered it across an Italian forest.

Police in Albania had wiretapped four suspected drug dealers — three Albanians and one Italian — following the murder of a young man, hoping to catch a confession on tape (or at the very least find a lead). What they heard instead was a string of complaints about the damage a group of wild feral hogs had done to a cocaine stash worth $22,000.

Upon arresting the drug dealers, police learned that they had hidden several sealed packages of cocaine in the woods, assuming it was a good hiding spot. But they failed to account for the hogs.

According to the dealers, the hogs managed to uncover the sealed packages, tear them open, and spread the powdered substance throughout the woods. The dealers were taken into custody, but the hogs were still on the run.
